TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

How to measure tire wear?

To measure the wear on your road tyres and to know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread. Tread that is starting to fray, the appearance of micro cracks, and low tread depth, are signs of wear. You should especially take action before the carcass becomes visible. In all these cases the tyre is worn and needs replacing.

How to remove your tyre

To remove your tyre, deflate the inner tube until no more air comes out.
Then separate the tire from the rim with a tire lever.

How to put your tyre back on

To put your tyre back on the wheel, start by inserting one side of the tyre into the bottom of the rim. Next, inflate your inner tube to approximately 30% before putting it into the tyre (inflating it beforehand reduces the risk of pinching the inner tube).

Then, insert the other side of the tyre into the rim, starting on the side opposite the valve. Before fully inflating the inner tube, check to make sure it isn't pinched between the tyre and the rim.

How to inflate your tyre correctly

Inflate the tire with caution. The recommended pressure is indicated on the side of your tyre as well as on its product sheet (available online). Also, before each outing, make sure that your tyres are at the correct pressure for your ride.

The professional's advice

During inflation, it is important to obtain the right pressure depending on the terrain and especially depending on the time.
If you drive in rainy weather, feel free to lower the tire pressure to increase its grip.
When riding in dry weather, you can increase the pressure for better performance. Also, before each outing, make sure that your tyres are at the correct pressure for your ride.
