TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Description

The Terreno Dry bridges the gap between dry tyres and hybrid tyres. The key is the unique, angled "fish scale" design, which allows the central tread to roll extremely quickly while offering plenty of traction when loaded up when cornering and braking.
With the TNT technology (Tube / No Tube), the tyre has an additional layer in its sidewall and can be used either with or without an inner tube.

Tubeless TNT provides extreme protection against punctures!

Vittoria Gravel tyres have a puncture-resistant layer on the carcass, under the tread. They are made of nylon, a resistant yet light material. The Tubeless TNT versions have two layers of nylon on the sidewall of the tyre. They protect the sides of the tyre from cuts and perforations caused by stones and thorns. With the TNT technology (Tube / No Tube), the tyre has an additional layer in its sidewall and can be used either with or without an inner tube.

Graphene

Vittoria gravel tyres have a unique Graphene compound. The one on the central tread reduces tread resistance and perforations, while increasing lifespan. The shoulder area has 2 distinct Graphene compounds. The base compound provides a stable basis for loads on turns, whilst providing protection against cuts. The surface compound provides ultimate confidence on turns, whether on dry or wet ground.

How to measure tyre wear

To measure the wear on your tyres and know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread. Signs of wear may include:
- the tyre tread beginning to fray
- a series of micro cracks
- flattening of the tread
- the carcass becoming visible.
In all these cases the tyre is worn and needs replacing.

How to remove a tyre

To remove your tyre, deflate the inner tube until no more air comes out.
Once deflated, use a tyre lever to remove the tyre from the rim.

How to install a tubeless ready tyre

The equipment required for Tubeless Ready assembly:
- A tubeless valve
- A tubeless rim strip
- Tyre sealant
- A tubeless ready compatible rim
- A foot pump or compressor

How to inflate your tyre correctly

Inflate your tyre carefully. The recommended pressure is indicated on the tyre sidewall and in the product file.
Ensure your tyre pressure is correct before each ride.

Tip from the pros

When inflating your tyre, make sure you inflate it to the suitable pressure for the terrain you will be riding on and, above all, the weather conditions you will be riding in.
When riding in rainy weather, lower the tyre pressure to increase the tyre's traction.
On the other hand, when riding in dry weather, you can increase the pressure for better performance.
