    Design details

    AQUARESIST technology

Products holding the AQUARESIST label are guaranteed to be resistant to chlorine. They will maintain their elasticity and are UV-resistant. For these reasons, they are recommended for regular or intensive pool use.

    Material

Main fabric: 100% Polyester. Our engineers developed a polyester-based fabric and replaced the elastane fibre with PBT fibre, which is stretchy enough to provide user comfort but, more importantly, is unaffected by chlorine. This PBT thread also has the advantage of quick drying. It only loses 3 to 4% resistance throughout its lifespan. Another plus: Even the brightest of colours will retain their colour fastness

    Lining

This swimsuit has a front and back lining
OBS: the graphics ALL IMO (8512180) only have the gusset (hygienic lining)

Why doesn’t my swimsuit have a hygienic sticker?

“As of 2022, all women’s swimwear designed at Decathlon are made without plastic stickers. If all the stickers were in a line, that would make 940 km of plastic saved every year!
This meaningful decision is strongly based on protecting our planet and limiting the use of plastics.
Let’s make this responsibility a common commitment by making sure
to keep your underwear on when you go in the fitting room."

    Test product

The products labelled with AQUARESIST certification are tested under repeated cyclical loading in a pool of chlorinated water for 240 hours. No deterioration of elastic strength was observed throughout the test. Unlike a standard swimming product, the product remains intact.
