    Design details

    How waterproof is it?

Technical specifications: high-performance, waterproof coating, 5,000 mm H2O (Schmerbers) certified to the JIS 1092 standard. Water-resistance before washing - equivalent to being able to withstand a 5-meter water column. Sustained performance on repeated cycles, with guaranteed watertightness under light rain.

    Strategically-placed pockets

    6 pockets for optimised organisation:
    - 2 hand-pockets on the sides
    - 2 gusseted pockets with flap and velcro
    - 1 watertight chest pocket offering rapid access to your phone
    - 1 secure inner pocket with a zip.

And technical details on the lining?

The lining is based on a multi-material technical structure. The back mesh maximises ventilation, while the nylon at the hips optimises abrasion-resistance and fluidity of movement. The hood is lined with peach-skin microfibre for premium contact.

    Breathability

Optimised breathing performance rated as RET 12 positions this fabric in the “highly breathable” category on the technical scale. For reference purposes, an RET lower than 9 indicates an extreme level, while over 20, breathability becomes insufficient for sustained physical exertion.

To maintain the jacket’s waterproofing properties

Maintaining the garment’s water-repellent properties follows a specific protocol. Reactivate the fabric’s coating every 3 washes with intensive rinsing, or after a dozen uses in the rain. Thermal reactivation is done easily in a tumble dryer for 15 minutes or with a hair dryer held 20 cm away.

Choose your waterproof jacket according to your sports effort

During sports activity, the extent to which we perspire depends on the intensity or the duration of the physical effort If the breathability of the fabric is not adapted to your type of physical activity, the perspiration vapour condenses inside the jacket You feel damp inside:It is not rain coming through but perspiration vapour condensing. You need to choose your jacket according to the type of physical activity. This parka has been designed for regular day hiking at a maximum speed of 5 km/hr.

This product is made with recycled polyamide (instead of conventional polyamide). Objective: to use a recovered material, transformed from production scraps or products destined to be thrown away, rather than using new oil resources to reduce the environmental impact of this product. And this, without compromising the technical qualities!

    Material

    Recycled polyester

Textile part made of 20% recycled polyester

We have incorporated recycled polyester into this product (instead of conventional polyester, which is itself derived from petrochemical plastic). What does this mean? In addition to being technical, this product has been designed taking into account its environmental impact: using recycled polyester means recovering and transforming products destined to be thrown away, such as production offcuts or plastic bottles, instead of using new oil resources.
