    Why choose 1.5 kg dumbbells?

1.5 kg dumbbells are a lightweight but effective option for toning and strengthening muscles and improving muscle definition. Perfect for gradual training, they also improve coordination and movement control. They are compact and practical, making them ideal for use at home or on the move.

Our products are designed with at least 80% recycled cast iron.

Since 2018, our teams have been gradually integrating recycled materials into our products in order to achieve the best possible compromise. After several years of experimentation, Decathlon is replacing its entire range of cast iron products with recycled cast iron, made of at least 80% iron and steel waste - a great feat in the metal world! To ensure the quality is equivalent to standard cast iron, tests are conducted in partner laboratories.

    Freeletics: inspiration for your workouts

Freeletics integrates seamlessly with your equipment to support you during your workouts. The leading European app is fully compatible with this product and offers comprehensive workouts to strengthen your whole body.

What can you train with 1.5 kg dumbbells?

The 1.5 kg dumbbells are excellent for toning various muscles. Use them for shoulder rotations as a warm-up, then move on to lateral and frontal shoulder raises. Bicep curls and tricep kickbacks will strengthen your arms. Incorporate them into squats and lunges to work your lower body while stimulating your upper body. Horizontal extensions target your back.

How do you know how much weight to use?

Choose a weight that guarantees precision and comfort during your exercises! Remember, the quality of the movements counts more than the weight itself. After your session, your muscles should be energised, but you should still have enough energy left to get the most out of your day!

How to improve your performance with your dumbbells

Start every workout with a warm-up using light dumbbells to prepare your body effectively. If you're a beginner, opt for 0.5 kg dumbbells to perfect each movement. When you're more comfortable, you can gradually increase your dumbbell weight. We recommend that you add 0.5 kg every other workout to continue to challenge your limits and maximise your performance gains!

What are these 1.5 kg dumbbells' dimensions?

A dumbbell is 14.3 cm long, 7.2 cm wide, 6.1 cm high and 33.13 mm in diameter (handle).

These dumbbells are stable and leave no marks on your floor - they're perfect!

Want to exercise at home? Absolutely, but with the right equipment! Whether for your rehabilitation or your fitness routine, choosing dumbbells makes sense. We've designed them to simplify your everyday life: their PVC coating prevents marks on the floor. What's more, their specific shape prevents them from rolling when you put them on the floor.

From extraction to production, metal has a high environmental footprint. To help reduce it, we use recycled metal in this product — sourced from recovered scrap, sorted, shredded, and melted down in electric furnaces, which are far less energy-intensive than traditional coal-fired blast furnaces. The result: the same performance as virgin metal, with a lower environmental impact: – 40% less energy used – 19% fewer CO2eq emissions – and fewer raw materials extracted
