Fleece component: insulation thanks to air
The fleece, with its plush texture and brushed knit, traps air and uses its insulating power to keep your body warm. Tested in the laboratory, this fleece provides a comfort temperature of between 7 and 10°C, even without an extra layer.
HOW IS WARMTH MEASURED?
This fleece jacket has been subject to thermal tests on its fleece fabric and in a climate chamber with a mannequin. These tests imitate the mountain conditions to validate our design choices.
Why use a ripstop fabric?
It’s inevitable that you will sweat when you go hiking. To avoid that uncomfortable damp feeling, our fleece is made from a breathable fabric that wicks away sweat, keeping you dry. What’s more, the full-length zip allows you to open the fleece if you feel hot.
A fabric that frees up movements
When you go hiking, it's really important that you are able to move freely. That's why we’ve designed this fleece with a stretchy fabric that follows your every move. The result: guaranteed comfort while you’re exercising.
A practical fleece that you can take everywhere
Lightweight and compact thanks to its compressible fabric, you will forget you’re carrying this fleece in your backpack. Its zip pockets also help you to keep your personal belongings safe and close at hand.
What sizes are available?
This fleece is available in a range of sizes, from S to 4 XL.
How you should care for this fleece
You can wash your fleece at 30°C on a synthetic cycle. Turn it inside out and close the pockets before you put it in the machine. Limit the spin speed to 1,000rpm to avoid damaging your fleece. We recommend not tumble drying to preserve the quality of the fabric.
Resistance tested?
To guarantee their quality, our products undergo rigorous tests. We check their resistance to pilling, discolouration and repeated washing. The resistance to wear is measured using the Martindale test that subjects a sample of fabric to repeated friction. 2-year guarantee.
