TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

How is the comfort temperature rating of the ULTIM COMFORT 10 °C sleeping bag determined?

We display on all our sleeping bags the comfort temperatures tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) according to European standard ISO 23537-1 of 21/01/2017. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use).
Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.

What is the limit temperature rating for the ULTIM COMFORT 10 °C sleeping bag?

The limit temperature rating is is the lower limit at which the user curled up in their sleeping bag is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a man in normal conditions of use).

What is the ULTIM COMFORT 10 °C sleeping bag made up of?

Inner fabric: 100% cotton | Outer fabric: 100% polyester pongee | Wadding: 100% 300g/sqm polyester padding.

Is the comfort temperature rating the same for everyone?

A sleeping bag does not produce heat, but retains the heat produced by the body. If you are tired and cold and you slip inside a cold, damp sleeping bag, it is very likely that you will feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! These temperatures therefore depend on the person's resistance to cold (body type, fatigue, etc.), equipment (mattress with insulation, etc.), clothing (naked, underwear, etc.) and weather conditions (humidity, wind, etc.).

What to wear when sleeping in the ULTIM COMFORT 10 °C sleeping bag

To use the ULTIM COMFORT 10°C sleeping bag, you’ll be warm enough if you wear a single layer of clothing. Warm up your extremities with hats, gloves, socks, hand and feet warmers, etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot-water bottle (be careful that it doesn’t open accidentally!). Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but don't make any movements that cause cold draughts.
To avoid washing your sleeping bag all the time, use a sleeping bag liner.

How to wash the ULTIM COMFORT 10 °C sleeping bag

The ULTIM COMFORT 10°C sleeping bag is machine washable.
We recommend using a washing machine with a minimum capacity of 7 kg.
Also remember to zip up your sleeping bag
