"Outdoor-proof"
All our materials undergo a Martindale test: reproducing the effect of a backpack strap rubbing on the shoulders.
Our materials are subject to a Martindale test which replicates the effect of a backpack strap rubbing on the shoulders. After validating this test in the laboratory, we do the same again in the field, using real backpacks and real users.
A shirt to take everywhere!
This shirt can be worn done up but also as an over-shirt on top of a T-shirt.
It is ideal in winter but also in a warm country. Slip it in the bottom of your bag and take it out if you need some extra warmth. On a train when the air-conditioning is too cool, at the top of a windy peak or on a cool evening in the city, it won't take up much room in your backpack.
A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using various indicators. A score from A to E is given to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.) Decathlon is a voluntary supporter of this environmentally-friendly labelling approach.
