The high level of support provided by this sports bra is ideal for all sports that have a high impact on the bust: running, horse riding, trampolining, etc.
Add-ons in the design of this sports bra reinforce the support.Made up of two layers, this sports bra offers double back support. The second layer of the sports bra consists of an elasticated reinforcement band at the front, positioned under the bust. Perfect for larger bust sizes.
Why is it easier to move around when you're wearing the high support muscle back zip sports bra?
Firstly, we opted for a stretch fabric containing elastane.As it's more stretchy, the sports bra is able to follow your every move without any discomfort. We've also given it a muscle back to free up your shoulder blades and your arm movements.
Is this zipped, muscle back sports bra easy to put on?
To make dressing and undressing easier, we've designed this sports bra with a front zip.Put it on as easily as a jacket. Clips under the front zip also make it easy to adjust the size of the back. Finally, to adjust shoulder comfort, the straps can also be adjusted from the front.The front adjustment points make this sports bra easy to use for sportswomen with arm mobility problems.
How important is it to protect your breasts during exercise?
During sport, your bust, which is fragile and mainly supported by the skin, is exposed to more intense stress than usual. No matter your cup size or age, your breasts are subjected to movements and bouncing. High, medium or light support: how do you choose?
When you exercise, your breasts are put through stresses and strains that stretch the skin and ligaments. Without the right level of support, the risk of pain and premature sagging is increased. Conversely, too much support can cause damage in the long term. It is therefore essential to adapt the level of support in your bra to your cup size and the intensity of the impact you experience. The aim is to protect your bust without altering natural breast movement.
What are the support levels offered by Decathlon's sports bras?
Our bras are tested in our labs using a breast support test that measures the decrease in the breasts' acceleration during sports. Our bras are then assessed and categorised as follows: 1 for light support, 3 for medium support and 5 for high support.
Which level of support do you need for which activity?
The sports bra's support should correspond to the type of physical activity. Our range consists of three levels:
- Level 1: light support for activities that cause gentle breast movement (Pilates, stretching, strength training, etc.);
- Level 3: medium support for activities that lead to a moderate level of bounce (dancing, fitness, cardio training, etc.);
- Level 5: high support for activities involving strong movements (step, treadmill, trampoline, etc.).
How to measure your sports bra size
If your sports bra fits well, you can be confident that it will support your chest and be comfortable. To choose the right size, follow these simple steps:
- Facing a mirror, take a tape measure;
- Hold your tape measure horizontally at the top of your back towards the bottom of your shoulder blades;
- Bring the tape measure across the fullest part of your bust;

How are Decathlon's sports bras designed?
Decathlon's sports bras are designed by our sports team to optimise your comfort and prevent health issues. We don't use underwiring as it can cause injuries and compress the lymph nodes. There are no seams over the nipples to reduce the risk of rubbing. We prioritise fabrics that wick away perspiration to keep you comfortable and make it much less likely your skin will become irritated.
How should you care for the high support muscle back sports bra?
This bra is designed for intensive sports use and can be washed and rewashed. We recommend washing it, with its pads, in our laundry bag, sold separately (ref. 8505236) at no more than 30°C.

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
SUPPORT: the level of support is tested and approved at the Decathlon laboratory by measuring breast movement. Each size is tested individually. PERSPIRATION WICKING: the perspiration-wicking test is performed on each material, in the lab, to make sure that the fabric absorbs moisture and wicks it from the inside to the outside so that it can evaporate. WASHING: the washing and drying tests ensure that the product retains its shape and colour.

This product has been tested at the Decathlon laboratory to check its levels of support. Then a panel of female testers tried it out during an indoor sports session (protocolled use test) to confirm its ease and comfort during sporting activities. They carried on using the product for another 6 months before giving it the final thumbs up.
